 - Aluminium central casing  AlSi9 Cu1 Mg gravity casting

 - All Aluminium parts treated through anodic oxidation (on demand)

 - Impregnation through resin RC-80ND to guarantee gastight machine and close eventual porosities (on demand)

 - Direct Coupling SOLID MOTOR construction or coupling through elastic joint

 THE LCX WILL BE CERTIFIED ATEX :   EX II 3G cb IIB T3

MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN  ATEX 3G and ATEX 2G

  Electrical motor:

 - Cat.3G : motor certified Atex 3G Ex nA IIB T4 Gc

 - Cat.2G : motor certified Atex Explosion proof II 2G Ex de IIC T4 Gb with PTC suitable for VFD application.

 Shaft sealing :

 - Cat.3G : simple leap-seal

 - Cat.2G : double leap-seal 

  Treatment on aluminum parts :

 - Cat.3G : No treatment except on request if Biogas is used or air with corrosive particles: In this last case the treatment is the same as for ATEX 2G

 - Cat.2G : Anodization and impregnation

  Predisposition for sensors :

 - Cat.3G : No predisposition except for Biogas application or under request. In that case the predisposition is the same as for ATEX 2G

 - Cat.2G : Predisposition for Temperature, pressure and vibration sensors

 Condensate drain :

 - Cat.3G : No predisposition except for Biogas application or under request. In that case the predisposition is the same as for ATEX 2G

 - Cat.2G : always present
